Jallarah offers 29 single rooms, each with a private ensuite bathroom. Meals are provided daily, along with 24-hour personal care support. Residents are also encouraged to bring their own furnishings and personal touches to make their space feel truly like home. Electric beds are supplied by Jallarah for added comfort and support. The home features a range of welcoming communal areas, including a combined dining and living space, as well as two additional sitting rooms that can be booked for private family gatherings. A varied lifestyle and activities program is offered to support engagement and wellbeing. Each resident has a personalised care plan that is regularly reviewed to ensure their individual needs are met. Medical care is provided through visiting doctors from Coorong Medical Centre.

Explanation of fees at Jallarah

Your own personal circumstances and financial situation will influence the amount you pay for your place in an aged care home. The Government determines how much you pay or may be required to contribute. For some people the Government will pay for most of the costs and for others, that can afford to, the Government will ask you to contribute more. We have a range of options that cater to everybody, no matter what their financial situation is.

Basic daily fee

This fee covers the cost of day-to-day services, such as meals, cleaning, laundry and facilities management, and is payable by all residents.

Based on current rate:

The basic daily fee = 85% of the single person rate of the basic age pension. This changes twice per year.

This supplement covers daily living expenses such as cleaning, meals, and laundry, over and above the basic daily fee.
