Support at Home Care Services in Southwest Victoria
The challenges that come with ageing can be difficult to manage, particularly as more Australians are choosing to continue living at home rather than move into a care home.
Respect is a not-for-profit that believes those who would prefer to stay at home deserve the right support to ensure they can continue living independently and safely. Our in-home care services in South West Victoria offer personalised domestic and nursing care to eligible older Australians under the Support at Home Program.
If you are an older Australian aged 65+ (50+ for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander individuals), you may be eligible for free or subsidised in-home care under the Support at Home Program.

On 1 November 2025, the Support at Home program replaced the Home Care Packages (HCP) program, providing easier access to and more comprehensive care for ageing Australians who need support for living at home.

Clinical care |
Clinical care offers continuous support and management tailored to each person’s health needs. Clinical support services include nursing care, medication management and administration, access to allied health and therapeutic services, and nutritional support and supplements.

Independent support services |
We deliver independence support services that promote or maintain personal independence, such as personal care (grooming, showers, dressing), social support and community engagement, non-clinical therapeutic services, respite care, and transport.
Additional funding for assistive technology and home modifications can be accessed under the AT-HM short-term pathway.

Support for everyday living |
Support for daily living tasks helps to create a safe and convenient home environment for residents. Everyday living support services include domestic assistance, basic home and garden maintenance, and meal preparation and delivery.
