As we settle into the New Year, we are pleased to share the latest issue of Respect’s quarterly magazine, which you can read and download today.

To kick things off, our summer issue includes a special look at our organisation’s many highlights and achievements across a memorable 2024. Another milestone year of growth and development for Respect and our many teams, we include end-of-year insights from both our CEO Jason Binder and Chair of our Board of Directors John de Jong – who share their perspectives on the year that was as well as cast an eye to plans for 2025.

From new homes and services joining the Respect family to special festivities recognising our people and their contributions to the local community, we think you will agree it’s been a memorable year and one worth commemorating!

Elsewhere in the magazine, we provide a collection of stories profiling all the wonderful activities and events connecting our staff, residents and clients with each of the local communities that they’re proud to remain connected with in such a meaningful and fulfilling way. This includes stories about community collaborations boosting resident wellbeing, intergenerational programs inspiring local connections across age groups, innovative programs refreshing our approach to social care, and staff workshops uniting team members far and wide.

We also feature a recap of the recent 60th anniversary celebrations that took place at Eliza Purton, our aged care home in West Ulverstone, Tasmania. As our first aged care home, Eliza Purton’s origins are intertwined with the beginnings of Respect’s main organisation. And in the six decades which have followed, we have proudly grown our commitment to provide exceptional care to older people from a local perspective to a national level – all while remaining not-for-profit and community-focused.

Keep an eye out for the printed versions of our summer issue across our aged care communities. You can also view a digital version, which can be downloaded and shared, by clicking here or at the link at the top of this page.

You can also keep up to date with all the news, events and activities taking place across Respect, and everything our residents, clients and staff are up to, by following our official social media pages for Respect Aged Care and Respect Home Care.
