Tamar Valley Court Celebrates Christmas in Winter
On 25 July, residents at Respect Tamar Valley Court in Exeter, Tasmania, recently celebrated Christmas in Winter with a festive lunch. Organised by a sub-committee of the Social Club, the event brought together residents and their families for a joyful mid-year celebration.
Traditional Christmas meals were services with roast chicken, vegetables and pudding on the menu. The day was filled with warmth and laughter, as well as a special appearance by Father Christmas, which added a magical touch to the day.
The event was made possible thanks to the efforts of Roy & Betty, Maurice, Roger & Glenis, Christine and Maree, the Social Club President. Their dedication to self-catering ensured the event remained affordable and inclusive and went off without a hitch.
Plans are already underway for future winter celebrations, with the next Christmas lunch scheduled at Tamar Valley Court for December 12th.
