Respect Celebrates Spring with the Latest Issue of its Quarterly Magazine
Respect Quarterly Magazine |
Respect has released the Spring issue of its quarterly magazine, providing a snapshot of just some of the latest news, stories and updates taking place across our organisation in recent months.
From stories of growth and innovation to insights into the impactful work being undertaken by our team members far and wide, the new issue is a wonderful representation of the support we are honoured to provide local families in each of our communities.
As part of the issue, you will read about the latest home to join our aged care network: Kyneton’s RM Begg. Especially considering the home’s strong connection with the local community, we also profile their Auxiliary Group – a remarkable group of individuals whose selfless fundraising has been improving the lives of RM Begg residents for many years.
Our retirement living services are also experiencing growth – and this issue we feature the official launch of Reed Estate, our organisation’s first fully -developed and constructed village. Located in Prospect Vale, the village was unveiled with a celebratory event uniting greater Launceston, including several community leaders.
The issue also celebrates Aged Care Employee Day (which took place on 7 August) with special staff spotlights featuring three team members currently making a difference to the lives of others through Respect’s aged care, home care and retirement living services.
Innovation continues to be a key focus for Respect and in this issue, you will read about several key initiatives which are currently enhancing our team’s ability to provide exemplary care to residents. This includes our association with the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme, which has allowed us to welcome new staff from Fiji to our join our homes; as well as our continued focus on developing best-practice strategies and solutions through the Respect Way Lean Leadership initiative.
Elsewhere, you will get a glimpse of the wide variety of fun-filled activities taking place across our homes, which promote resident engagement and stimulate participation. From unique arts and craft activities to community outings and even animal-assisted therapy, there is so much going on at our homes and we are proud to share what our residents are up to.
