PJ Day at Ingham Lodge

Ingham Lodge embraced its annual pyjama day, a day of comfort, laughs, fun, and wearing something a little sillier than usual. Residents and staff enjoyed the fun, wearing their favourite (sometimes silliest) pyjama and onesies, bringing laughter to the home.

Everyone got into the spirit, from the reception desk and rostering team to Ingham Lodge’s much-loved general manager. Latesha from front desk reception and Mary in personal care wore their most comfortable PJs, while Malynda from rostering wore her Christmas ones, making the day even more festive. The energy was abuzz with smiles and laughter, with everyone having a ball!

Frank, one of the Ingham Lodge residents, opted for a unicorn hat he borrowed from the home’s diversional therapist, Belinda. He paired perfectly with Theresa’s unicorn onesie, a moment worth capturing.

Theresa said, “I did feel a little silly wearing a unicorn onesie to Ingham Lodge, but the reactions from residents made it all worthwhile. I even wore it during the Residents & Representatives’ meeting, which got me a few heartwarming laughs.”

During the morning bus ride, Belinda wore her bright purple outfit, making sure the vibe and theme continued during the outing. It might have just been a bit of fun with PJs and unicorn hats, but it meant a lot to everyone involved. It’s moments like this that make Ingham Lodge feel like home.

PJ Day is one of those fun things we do to bring people together. The team here genuinely enjoy getting involved in days like this, knowing how much joy it brings to the residents. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a reason to laugh?
