Festive Fun And Christmas Cheer Unites Respect Residents

Across each of our aged care communities, Christmas is always a special time for our staff, residents and clients. A time for spending with family, friends and those we hold dear, it’s an opportunity for everyone in our homes to come together as one, revel in the seasonal excitement and Christmas glow, and enjoy all the yuletide festivities on offer!

It is also a great time to take a moment to pause, reflect on the year that was, and celebrate what we are most thankful for. And for Respect, that is the wonderful people who make up each of our communities, from our dedicated and hardworking staff to the many residents and clients who we are proud to call a vital part of our Respect family.

In recent weeks, our communities have enjoyed getting into the festive spirit, as you can see from just some of these wonderful photos. Residents and staff alike have enjoyed adorning our homes with Christmas decorations and festive cheer, from top to bottom, and taking part in memorable activities and events—from special, themed activities to get-togethers and lunches often including friends, family, and guests from the local community. 

And of course, it cannot be a true Christmas celebration without a special visitor making an appearance. And you can be sure, across each of our homes, Santa would never pass up the chance to pop in, say a big hello to residents, and share a gift or two. And whether it was thanks to a helping hand from the community, or one of our staff members donning the fluffy white beard and red suit, a big thank you to everyone who helped bring a smile to the faces of our residents!
