Respect is a government-approved Support at Home care provider delivering tailored in-home care services for older residents in Heywood. If you are aged 65 and older (or 50 and over for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders), you may be eligible to receive Support at Home funding to access free or subsidised care services for living independently at home. 

The Support at Home Program provides eligible older Australians with up to $77,709 in annual funding to subsidise the cost of in-home care services. There are eight funding classifications – applicants undergo an aged care assessment of their personal and medical needs before being assigned a funding amount appropriate for safe and independent living at home. 

Support at Home funding covers a wide range of services from assistance with basic household tasks to comprehensive medical support. On 1 November 2025, the Support at Home program replaced the Home Care Packages (HCP) program, providing easier access to and more comprehensive care for ageing Australians who need support for living at home.
