Respect Celebrates Summer with the Latest Issue of Our Quarterly Magazine

Respect has released the Summer issue of its quarterly magazine, which takes a special look at our organisation’s many milestone achievements in the last 12 months, as well as casts an eye towards a memorable 2024.

In particular, this issue has a focus on including stories which demonstrate the tremendous work being undertaken by Respect team members. From on-the-ground innovation which is having direct benefits for our residents and clients, to updates on several development projects which embody our ambition to continually invest at the community level, Respect is committed to supporting local families through our care services.

As part of this issue, you will read a comprehensive year in review, which includes key highlights from every month of 2023 and includes a statistical snapshot of our growth and breadth of service. You will also get the opportunity to hear from both our CEO Jason Binder as well as the Chair of our Board of Directors, John de Jong – who both provide comment on the year that was and set the scene for Respect’s ambition moving forward.

Our organisation continues to experience a tremendous degree of positive growth, as you can see courtesy of a profile on the latest home to join our growing aged care network – Costa House in Lara, Victoria.

Innovation continues to be another area of key growth and development for Respect, so we shine a spotlight on the Respect Way program, which over the last year has supported team members to instigate positive, on-the-ground change to further improve the service we off our residents.

This issue also provides updates on a couple of key projects. One is the launch of Woodhaven’s milestone redevelopment, which will see a significant investment into the Lockhart home and its surrounds, including the construction of a new, state-of-the-art building. On the other side of the spectrum, we share a report on Wellington Views’ recently completed renovations, which have been met with a universal, glowing response from the Old Beach community in Tasmania.

Elsewhere, you will get a glimpse of the wide variety of noteworthy activities and events taking place across our homes, which promote resident engagement and community connections. From unique engagements with visitors from the local community to fun-filled approaches to celebrate diversity and foster inclusion, there is so happening at our homes that we’re proud to share with you.
