Here's what our nurses say about working with us...

Nurse, St Ann's

Icon / Quotes

I have been working at St Ann’s for nearly 13 years. St Ann’s has its culture: Respects every staff member, provides good care to residents, supports family in a good working environment, friendly colleagues and staff, pleasant residents, well-organised clinical care system and good relationships with doctors and other health professionals. These are some of the special features of St Ann’s and good teamwork that keeps me working here for so long!

St Ann's has me every opportunity to develop my professional skills and knowledge with supportive management.

I strongly recommend you join our friendly working team with a supportive management team and lovely residents. I believe together we can make a difference in the lives of our residents.

I began working for St Ann’s since 2011, originally starting as an Enrolled Nurse and then transitioned through to become a Registered Nurse in 2020. Working at St Ann’s has been rewarding, not to mention the flexibility of working hours and the support that I've received for all these years. There is a sense of work-life balance, which is amazing! The management is understanding and supportive of the employee’s circumstances. It gives us a lovely feeling to be a part of a great team.

Working here has also helped me a lot both personally and professionally. I have gained a lot of knowledge through the ongoing support and education. Particularly with dementia-specific education, to learn in depth about the disease and the symptom presentation with each individual. This has helped to grow my problem solving, time management, communication, time management and leadership skills.

I certainly call my team my second family. It is comforting to know I work for an organisation that is reliable, professional and above all, proficient.
