Comprehensive Home Care in Auburn, NSW
Respect delivers home care in Auburn for older Australians who require a helping hand to continue living independently in their own homes.
The decision to stay at home has become preferable for many ageing Australians — in fact, a study by the Australian Government revealed that 83 per cent of people that are aged 60 years old or older would prefer to stay in their own home, than move into an aged care facility.
Getting home care support that is tailored to address the challenges that you or your loved ones face with ageing can make all the difference in safety, comfort, and quality of life. That’s why at Respect, we offer our home care services in Auburn under the Home Care Packages (HCP) Program, so that eligible seniors can enjoy free or subsidised home care support.
How to Access Subsidised Home Care in Auburn
The HCP provides eligible seniors with funds that can be used to cover the cost of home care services. There are four different levels of funding, each covering a selected range of needs that seniors may need based on their health and ability to live independently.
- Level 1 – covers basic care needs with up to $10,588.65 in annual funding
- Level 2 – covers low-level care needs with up to $18,622.30 in annual funding
- Level 3 – covers intermediate care needs with up to $40,529.60 in annual funding
- Level 4 – covers high-care needs with up to $61,440.45 a year in annual funding
To access HCP funding, applicants will need to undergo a care needs assessment to determine what level of funding will be most appropriate for at-home living. If you do not already have a care needs assessment, Respect can help you with the application process. Simply give us a call and our care advisors will guide you from there.
