Support at Home Program
On 1 November 2025, the Support at Home program replaced the Home Care Packages (HCP) program, providing easier access to and more comprehensive care for ageing Australians who need support for living at home.
How to Access Subsidised Support at Home Services in Auburn
The Support at Home Program provides eligible older Australians with funds to cover the cost of home care services. There are eight different funding classifications under Support at Home – applicants will need to undergo a care needs assessment to determine the level of funding that will be most appropriate for at-home living.
Once approved, Support at Home funds can be used to access ongoing services with care providers like Respect, including nursing care, respite care, domestic assistance, and personal care.
