Easing of Restrictions in Victoria

23 June 21

Due to the improving situation in Victoria, the government has announced a relaxation of the visitor restrictions for aged care homes in the state. We are pleased to advise that as of 11.59pm Thursday 24 June, visitors will be allowed back into Victorian aged care homes, with the following restrictions:

  • Two visitors at a time, with a maximum of five per day
  • Visitors do not have to be from the same household and there is no time limit
  • Prospective residents are a permitted to visit
  • Masks must be worn

We will also be introducing the Victorian QR Code Service our aged care homes. The QR code will be included as part of our visitor check-in using the automated Zipline system.
